  • • You will be instrumental in defining and measuring business performance by partnering closely with stakeholders to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish robust measurement frameworks.
  • • A core responsibility will be the design, implementation, and maintenance of foundational data pipelines, ensuring data integrity, accessibility, and scalability to support Waymo's rapidly evolving needs.
  • • You will translate complex data into actionable insights through the creation of compelling reports and visualizations, making sophisticated information digestible for a wide range of audiences.
  • • Develop a profound understanding of Waymo's diverse metrics, datasets, and data sources, connecting them to the intricate business and operational context that spans our entire product landscape.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 3+ years of experience in a related technical field (e.g., data analysis, business intelligence, data science) or equivalent practical experience.
  • • Proven coding experience with Python and SQL, demonstrating the ability to design, implement, and maintain complex data pipelines following best practices.
  • • Strong statistical knowledge and data intuition, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • • Ability to scope, structure, and solve ambiguous problems independently, taking ownership from problem definition to solution delivery.
  • • Experience interacting with and presenting findings to senior leadership.
  • • Experience in the AV industry, Mapping, Ridesharing, Consumer Tech, or People Analytics is a plus.

  • • Competitive salary range of $125,000 - $157,000 USD, commensurate with experience and location.
