📋 Description

  • Join Grant Street Group, a leader in providing innovative software solutions for tax collection, ePayments, and auctions, dedicated to enhancing government efficiency and service delivery. We are at the forefront of empowering government entities with the tools they need to operate effectively and serve their communities with reliability and excellence.
  • As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our data-driven future. You will be instrumental in developing and delivering critical revenue and product insights that will directly influence our strategic growth and operational enhancements. This position is designed for an individual with a robust technical aptitude in Business Intelligence (BI) development and analytics, coupled with a genuine enthusiasm for uncovering actionable intelligence from complex datasets.
  • This role sits at a dynamic intersection, bridging data infrastructure, business intelligence, and revenue operations. You will collaborate closely with various teams to design, develop, and implement scalable analytics solutions, comprehensive dashboards, and sophisticated revenue intelligence capabilities. Your work will empower stakeholders across the organization with the data they need to make informed decisions, optimize performance, and identify new opportunities.
  • You will be responsible for translating complex business requirements into clear, concise, and actionable BI solutions. This involves understanding the needs of our revenue, sales, marketing, and product teams, and then architecting and building the reports, dashboards, and analytical models that address these needs effectively. Your ability to visualize data in a meaningful way will be key to communicating insights and driving understanding.
  • Key responsibilities will include developing and maintaining ETL processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. You will work with various data sources, transforming raw data into structured formats suitable for analysis and reporting. This requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to data integrity.
  • You will design, build, and deploy interactive dashboards and reports using our BI tools. These visualizations will provide real-time insights into key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and anomalies, enabling proactive decision-making. The focus will be on creating user-friendly and insightful tools that cater to a diverse audience, from executive leadership to operational teams.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the BI and data analytics workflows. This includes exploring new technologies, methodologies, and tools that can enhance efficiency, scalability, and the overall value delivered by the data analytics function.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to understand data models, schemas, and data dictionaries. You will ensure that our data infrastructure supports the analytical needs of the business and contribute to the design of new data structures or enhancements to existing ones.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis to answer critical business questions, investigate trends, and support strategic initiatives. This requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly pivot and address emerging data needs.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for BI solutions, data models, and processes. Clear and comprehensive documentation is essential for knowledge sharing, training, and ensuring the long-term sustainability of our BI assets.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in business intelligence, data analytics, and data visualization. Continuously seek to expand your knowledge and apply new techniques to enhance our analytical capabilities.
  • You will be a key contributor to fostering a data-driven culture within Grant Street Group, advocating for the use of data in decision-making and helping to democratize access to relevant insights across the organization. Your ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences will be invaluable in this endeavor.
  • This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on a growing company. You will be empowered to take ownership of projects, drive innovation, and contribute directly to the success of Grant Street Group by providing the intelligence needed to navigate and capitalize on market opportunities.
  • We are looking for someone who is not just a report builder, but a true data storyteller, capable of transforming raw numbers into compelling narratives that inspire action and guide strategic direction. Your insights will help us understand customer behavior, optimize our product offerings, and refine our revenue generation strategies.
  • The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and a passion for problem-solving. You should be comfortable working with large datasets, possess strong SQL skills, and have experience with BI platforms. A proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative spirit are essential for success in this role.

  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data modeling principles.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with a demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
