- • Serve as the crucial liaison between business stakeholders, particularly within Property Claims, and the IT and Business Intelligence (BI) teams, ensuring seamless communication and understanding throughout the project lifecycle.
- • Drive the definition and successful delivery of the overarching BI Strategy, translating complex business needs into actionable technical solutions and robust reporting frameworks.
- • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Claims business unit's strategies, objectives, and roadmap, proactively identifying opportunities where BI can provide strategic advantage.
- • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to meticulously define, document, and prioritize business requirements, ensuring they are clearly articulated and aligned with organizational goals.
- • Work hand-in-hand with technical staff to explore, evaluate, and recommend optimal solution alternatives that address defined business needs and technical constraints.
- • Establish and manage clear expectations with project and service delivery teams, as well as business representatives, regarding reporting deliverables, including realistic priorities and achievable timescales.
- • Demonstrate a high degree of initiative and motivation, setting and achieving analytical and project objectives with minimal direct supervision, embodying a proactive and self-starter mentality.
- • Proactively identify, understand, and document current and future reporting service requirements, ensuring the BI function remains agile and responsive to evolving business demands.
- • Support and enhance data processing activities, implementing and maintaining efficient solutions that precisely meet business requirements and data integrity standards.
- • Play a key role in identifying and acquiring relevant data from external sources, such as XACT, DXC, and Kwikwork, and guiding its integration into internal systems, particularly during corporate initiatives like system integrations and business acquisitions.
- • Actively participate in rigorous data validation processes and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to guarantee the accuracy, completeness, and alignment of data with specified business requirements.
- • Collaborate effectively with technical teams to clarify intricate data needs and meticulously review all outputs for quality and accuracy before their final delivery to business customers.
- • Provide essential support for business applications and data access needs, including the administration of user access to critical reporting platforms like the Data Warehouse (DWH).
- • Take ownership of identifying, researching, and escalating data-related issues to the appropriate technical teams, such as DWH or DB2 specialists, ensuring timely resolution.
- • Train end-users on the effective utilization of automated reports and facilitate knowledge transfer when work is transitioned to other teams, such as the Global Capability Centers (GCC).
- • Assist in the compilation and clear communication of system or business process changes, ensuring stakeholders are well-informed and prepared for transitions.
- • Collect, organize, and process complex data and information from multiple disparate sources, meticulously verifying its accuracy and integrity.
- • Analyze collected data to identify significant trends, patterns, and anomalies, translating these insights into comprehensive reports and compelling presentations that offer actionable recommendations for business improvement.
- • Contribute to the development of technical solutions in collaboration with the BI team, ensuring the implementation of ongoing business objectives aligns with the organization's overarching data analysis strategy.
- • Uphold the highest standards of data quality, recognizing its critical importance for downstream analysis and decision-making that supports the key enterprise strategy of claims management.
- • Effectively interact with all levels of internal and external personnel to develop efficient specifications that precisely meet customer requirements and deliver tangible business value.
- • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the BI team, sharing best practices and seeking innovative approaches to data analysis and reporting.
