- • Own the end-to-end Marketing budget cycle, including planning, tracking, reconciliation, and reporting, ensuring alignment with Finance and FP&A timelines and deliverables.
- • Coordinate inputs and deadlines across Marketing, Finance, and Procurement teams to maintain accurate and timely budget execution and reporting.
- • Maintain and steward the Marketing activity-level budget tracking application, including configuration, bug triage, anomaly detection, and user support across Marketing teams.
- • Manage budget holdback tracking, investment triage, and budget transfer workflows to optimize resource allocation and compliance.
- • Partner with Finance and FP&A on quarterly close activities, accruals, forecasting, and variance analysis to ensure financial accuracy and transparency.
- • Surface blockers and risks proactively in budget cycles and drive resolution through cross-functional collaboration and escalation when needed.
- • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, status reports, and budget artifacts to ensure stakeholder visibility and audit readiness.
- • Support recurring operational rhythms including annual planning, quarterly business reviews, and leadership cadences across the Marketing organization.
- • Coordinate select cross-functional initiatives aligned with Business Operations priorities, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals.
- • Translate complex operational and financial details into clear, executive-level updates for Marketing leadership and key stakeholders.
- • Partner with Procurement, IT, and other functional teams to streamline vendor management, procurement workflows, and operational processes.
- • Apply AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar) as a default methodology for drafting, summarizing, automating, and synthesizing information in daily work.
- • Utilize modern collaboration tools (Slack, Microsoft 365, Confluence) and project management platforms (ClickUp, Jira, Asana, or similar) to manage workflows and communication.
- • Demonstrate strong analytical reasoning, problem-solving, and attention to detail while operating independently in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
- • Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders across Marketing, Finance, and Procurement, ensuring clarity, confidence, and alignment in all interactions.
- • Support Marketing team members in navigating budgeting systems, procurement processes, and operational workflows to enable efficient execution.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4 or more years of professional experience in business operations, marketing operations, finance operations, or program management.
- • Demonstrated experience managing corporate budgets, financial planning, or partnering with FP&A teams in a corporate setting.
- • Demonstrated use of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar) as a regular part of daily work for drafting, summarizing, and automating tasks.
- • Proficiency with collaboration tools (Slack, Microsoft 365, Confluence) and project management platforms (ClickUp, Jira, Asana, or similar).
- • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to deliver executive-level updates to senior stakeholders.
- • Ability to apply structure and systems in ambiguous environments while balancing independent execution with cross-functional partnership.
