- • The Business Support Specialist II - Live Events role at Compassion International supports the Influencer team’s fundraising activities by providing operational, logistical, and data-driven support to ensure successful event execution and alignment with the organization’s mission to release children from poverty in Jesus’ name.
- • Day to day, the role involves managing high-volume fundraising event workflows using Salesforce, Tableau, and Microsoft 365; coordinating contracts and payments; tracking department budgets; anticipating fundraiser needs; solving problems independently; collaborating with cross-functional teams; contributing to process improvements; presenting data insights; and assisting in training new team members on systems and workflows.
- • Compassion International is a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to releasing children from poverty through holistic child development, operating with a strong commitment to cultural behaviors, child protection, and spiritual integrity in all aspects of ministry.
- • In this role, the individual will develop expertise in nonprofit operations, event logistics, data analysis using CRM and BI tools, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration — while growing spiritually through chapel services, prayer groups, and department devotionals, and contributing meaningfully to a mission-driven team.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent education, experience, training, and/or certification
- • Three years of professional experience in sales support, operational support, event logistics, project coordination, or a similar role involving complex workflows and competing priorities
- • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work with agility in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- • Proven ability to work independently, anticipate needs, and drive work forward
- • High adaptability and comfort with change, pivots, and evolving workstreams
- • Exceptional attention to detail while maintaining awareness of the broader operational context
- • Strong relational skills and ability to work effectively with diverse personalities
- • Systems thinker with strong technical proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce preferred), MS Outlook, Excel, and other operational systems
- • Team-player and solutions-oriented mindset with a heart to serve and support others toward success
