Business Systems Analyst I (Quality Assurance)

📋 Description

• • Assist in executing quality assurance and testing needs for enterprise business applications to ensure system reliability and performance.
• • Document testing outcomes, including results, defects, and resolution status during testing cycles.
• • Participate in testing new functionality, system enhancements, patches, and application upgrades to validate alignment with business requirements.
• • Support regression testing efforts to minimize disruptions to existing business processes during system changes.
• • Collaborate with senior analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues.
• • Assist in developing business process designs, user guides, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve system usability and compliance.
• • Contribute to validation processes by reviewing functional requirements and identifying testable acceptance criteria.
• • Provide production support for enterprise applications, including troubleshooting error messages and following escalation procedures per IT service level agreements.
• • Monitor SLAs and escalate issues as needed to ensure timely resolution and high customer satisfaction.
• • Adhere to and promote change management policies and procedures across application deployments and system updates.
• • Develop familiarity with existing business processes to anticipate potential issues and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• • Participate in instructional seminars, cross-training, and vendor education to build knowledge of enterprise systems and quality assurance practices.
• • Maintain positive relationships with team members and business partners to foster a collaborative, team-oriented work environment.
• • Utilize company computer-based systems for documentation, testing, and support activities as required.
• • Work under guidance of senior team members to implement low to moderate business processes within the enterprise application suite.
• • Gain conceptual understanding of project management methodologies and the application development lifecycle.
• • Support departmental initiatives aimed at improving customer satisfaction and operational efficiency through technology solutions.
• • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by documenting quality assurance processes and recommending enhancements based on testing insights.
