- • The Security Analyst I role at PointClickCare Technologies Inc. is critical to safeguarding the company’s networks, data centers, cloud deployments, endpoints, and systems, including SaaS environments, ensuring the protection of sensitive healthcare data and maintaining the integrity of the platform that serves over 30,000 provider organizations.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring and responding to security incidents via SIEM, managing security infrastructure (anti-virus, DLP, PAM, IAM), conducting threat risk assessments, performing vulnerability scans, assisting in security tool evaluations, tuning alerting to reduce false positives, supporting incident response, and contributing to security automation using AI tools, scripting (Python/PowerShell), and workflow automation.
- • The role operates within PointClickCare’s Information Security team, part of a founder-led, privately held health tech company recognized for its innovative culture, significant R&D reinvestment, and commitment to using AI to enhance security operations and employee impact.
- • The Security Analyst will develop technical expertise in cloud security, SIEM operations, vulnerability management, and AI-augmented security workflows, gain hands-on experience with automation frameworks and scripting, and grow into a trusted technical lead on security projects that directly improve the organization’s security posture.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience with security software including SIEM, vulnerability scanning, endpoint protection, privilege access management, and data loss prevention (DLP)
- • Working technical knowledge of IT environments: IP/TCP/IP, network administration, firewalls, WAFs, virtualized access control, Windows, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and macOS
- • Experience with Python and PowerShell, including scripting for automation, API integrations, and building lightweight connectors between security tools
