- • Senior Security Engineer at EverCommerce responsible for strengthening and scaling cybersecurity across a complex, evolving environment in a hands-on role that builds structure and maturity in security practices.
- • Day to day: Design, implement, improve, and operationalize security controls; lead or contribute to initiatives in identity and access management, endpoint security, network & cloud security, data security, vulnerability management, and logging/detection/response; evaluate current controls, identify gaps, and recommend risk-based improvements; help define security standards, architecture patterns, and implementation guidance; support lifecycle management of security technologies; work cross-functionally with infrastructure, IT, cloud, engineering, and business teams.

🎯 Requirements
- • Strong hands on experience in security engineering, including implementation, administration, and improvement of security controls
- • Broad and deep experience across most security domains
- • Experience implementing and supporting security tools and controls, not just advising on them
- • Ability to move between tactical engineering work and higher-level architectural thinking
- • Interest in architecture, with experience in technical design, documentation, standards, or best practice development
- • Strong judgment in balancing security risk, business needs, and practical execution
