- • As Director of Security at Jasper AI, you will lead the company’s security program to protect platform integrity, customer data, and business operations while enabling innovation in a high-growth AI environment.
- • You will own the strategic vision and tactical execution of security initiatives, manage a high-performing team, establish performance metrics, and drive continuous improvement across product security, risk management, and incident response.
- • You will partner with engineering and leadership to embed security into the software development lifecycle, conduct threat modeling, and ensure secure design of SaaS products while advising on risk-based decisions that support business agility.
- • You will serve as the primary security liaison for enterprise customers, lead incident response efforts, mentor your team, and represent Jasper in external discussions to build trust and maintain sales velocity.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of experience in information security with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing teams or security programs
- • Deep, hands-on experience with security frameworks (SOC2, ISO27001, HIPAA) in cloud-native environments
- • Proven ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders and represent the company externally
- • Strong understanding of risk management principles (e.g., NIST CSF) and ability to translate technical risks into business language
- • Solid foundation in cloud security (AWS/GCP/Azure), application security, and modern SaaS infrastructure
- • Experience leading security at a high-growth SaaS or AI startup
