  • • Lead and coordinate all fraud prevention and fraud operations activities for the Perk Pay corporate card program, ensuring alignment with global card network standards (Visa, Mastercard).
  • • Develop and implement the overall fraud risk strategy for the Perk Pay Card Program, optimizing authorization approval rates while minimizing fraudulent transactions.
  • • Define, monitor, and refine risk policies and metrics to balance fraud control with customer experience and operational efficiency.
  • • Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to design, implement, and improve systems and tools that support fraud detection, including rule engines, transaction risk analysis, and risk scoring models.
  • • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and partner bank obligations through accurate reporting and adherence to industry standards for corporate card programs.
  • • Manage dispute resolution and chargeback processes, overseeing end-to-end handling of fraudulent transactions and customer escalations.
  • • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of card operations specialists, setting clear targets, providing performance feedback, and ensuring timely delivery of operational goals.
  • • Deliver actionable insights and performance reports to internal stakeholders and external partners to inform strategic decisions and improve fraud prevention outcomes.
  • • Apply expert knowledge of strong customer authentication methods including 3D Secure, real-time transaction monitoring, and behavioral analytics to enhance security without compromising user experience.
  • • Maintain deep understanding of corporate credit card payment authorization workflows, fraud typologies, and emerging threats in the B2B payments space.
  • • Leverage AI-enabled tools daily to prioritize risks, automate routine analyses, synthesize data, and reduce shadow work—focusing human judgment on high-impact decisions.
  • • Ensure all fraud operations align with Perk’s values of ownership, 7-star experience, and teamwork, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • • Work in-person at least three days per week at the London office, as Perk follows an IRL-first approach to enhance connectivity, creativity, and team cohesion.
  • • Stay current with evolving payment regulations, card network updates, and fraud prevention technologies to maintain a proactive and adaptive risk posture.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Excellent knowledge of the payment authorization process via global card networks such as Visa or Mastercard
  • • Previous experience in fraud prevention at a card issuer, card network, or card payment processor
  • • Expertise in fraud prevention policies and systems for corporate credit/debit cards, including rule engines, risk scoring models, and transaction risk analysis
  • • Experience managing a team to meet operational targets while balancing fraud controls and customer experience
  • • Experience in fraud operations including dispute management and chargebacks
  • • Fluency in English; proficiency in German or other languages is a plus
