  • As a Card Scheme Operations Analyst based in Singapore, you will play a pivotal role within the Payment Risk Operations team, ensuring our merchants adhere to critical payment regulations and align with Adyen's robust risk management strategies. This is a crucial function for Adyen as a financial institution, requiring constant vigilance over merchant activities and compliance with evolving payment landscapes.
  • Your primary responsibility will be to support the team in maintaining merchant compliance and upholding Adyen's risk appetite. This involves intricate collaboration with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders across the APAC region and globally. You will be the connective tissue, ensuring seamless operations and adherence to standards.
  • A key aspect of your role will be fostering and maintaining strong connections with compliance and operational teams, both within Adyen and with external partners across the APAC region. Building and nurturing these relationships is essential for effective information flow and collaborative problem-solving.
  • You will actively support the implementation of risk management processes by collaborating on key initiatives within the Payment Risk Operations Team. This includes contributing to the development and execution of strategies designed to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory adherence.
  • A proactive approach to process improvement is highly valued. You will be tasked with identifying opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the team's operations, implementing changes that drive tangible improvements and streamline workflows.
  • Staying abreast of the latest Card Network rules and Local Payment Method requirements specific to the dynamic APAC Region is paramount. You will also need to monitor Adyen’s product expansions and their operational implications. This knowledge will directly inform and shape the operational strategy of the Payment Risk Operations team in APAC, ensuring we remain agile and compliant.
  • You will be instrumental in ensuring alignment across multiple internal teams, including Compliance, Sales, Account Management, Partnerships, and Product. This involves coordinating work streams, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring that all teams are synchronized on objectives and timelines to achieve collective success.
  • Partnering effectively with your peers in Payment Risk Operations, as well as colleagues in acquiring, product, sales, partnerships, and compliance functions, is essential. You will collaborate across global regional teams, contributing to projects by leveraging the extensive resources and expertise available across Adyen.
  • This role demands a keen analytical mind, capable of dissecting complex information and data to support informed decision-making. You will identify trends, assess risks, and pinpoint opportunities for both product enhancements and process optimizations.
  • You will contribute to the successful execution of Risk & Compliance projects, taking ownership of driving the operationalization of new risk programs. This requires a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution to translate policy into practice.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and consistently meet deadlines is critical in this fast-paced environment. You will need to be adept at juggling multiple tasks and projects while maintaining a high standard of work.

🎯 Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience, preferably within the payments, fintech, or financial services industry.
  • Specific experience with Card Schemes (e.g., Visa, Mastercard) and their operational requirements is highly welcomed.
