📋 Description
- • As a Care Management Coordinator, you will support the organization and team through monitoring compliance with assigned responsibilities, completing daily and weekly tasks, and coordinating with patient financial services to ensure timely discharges to post-acute facilities and discharge coordination.
- • You will conduct InterQual initial and continued stay reviews, clinical authorizations, and 7- and 10-day length of stay clinical and financial justifications, while ensuring coverage for 24/7 on-call processes and weekend requirements.
- • You will work within the Care Management Nursing Institute at Cleveland Clinic Health System, a top-ranked hospital system known for excellence in patient care, innovation, and transforming the healthcare experience.
- • This role offers the opportunity to expand your knowledge of insurance authorizations, gain experience with healthcare compliance systems like Epic, Allscripts/ECIN, and Invision, and potentially advance into a supervisory position while contributing to efficient, compliant, and patient-centered care delivery.
🎯 Requirements
- • Knowledge of financial and utilization review software, including ECIN, InterQual, and Kepro
- • Two years of hospital care management experience
- • Ability to conduct clinical and financial reviews, manage authorizations, and ensure compliance with CMS/Medicare regulations
