- • As a Casualty Claims Adjuster I at EMC Insurance Companies, you will play a vital role in investigating, evaluating, and resolving casualty claims to ensure fair and timely outcomes for policyholders and claimants, directly supporting the company’s mission to improve lives through responsive and expert claims service.
- • Day to day, you will review claim notices and policies to verify coverage, initiate contact with insureds and claimants, obtain statements, analyze reports, set reserves, investigate recovery opportunities, negotiate settlements, prepare documentation, issue payments, and collaborate with internal teams such as Special Investigation and Subrogation units.
- • You will join a collaborative and supportive team at EMC Insurance Companies, a organization that values caring leadership, partnership, and responsiveness, where employees are empowered to grow and contribute meaningfully while working remotely from anywhere in the United States.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
- • One year of casualty claims adjusting experience or related experience
- • Ability to obtain all applicable state licenses for claims adjusting
- • Strong knowledge of computers and claims systems
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- • Good investigative and problem-solving abilities
