- • As the Category Manager for this vital area, you will be entrusted with the comprehensive management and strategic growth of your assigned product categories, with a primary focus on heavy drugstore items. Your core mission will be to meticulously optimize the product assortment, pricing strategies, and promotional activities to achieve ambitious sales and margin targets. This involves cultivating robust relationships with suppliers, ensuring a consistently attractive and competitive offering for our diverse customer base, and driving innovation within the category.
- • This role offers a unique opportunity to exert a tangible influence on the purchasing decisions of hundreds of thousands of customers, directly impacting their regular orders and overall spending with Rohlik. You will take ownership of one of the most strategically important categories within our organization, operating in a dynamic environment where decisions are made swiftly and are data-driven, rather than dictated by rigid hierarchies.
- • Experience the immediate and measurable impact of your work on key business metrics, including revenue, profit margins, and customer satisfaction. - • Your responsibilities will encompass owning the commercial performance of your designated categories. This includes leading all negotiations with suppliers, conducting regular category reviews with key partners, and collaborating closely with the Marketing and Supply Chain teams to effectively execute promotional campaigns and manage inventory levels. You will be instrumental in providing critical input for overarching category strategies and developing Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with suppliers.
- • Furthermore, you will actively support the implementation of new product introductions and the management of seasonal assortment changes. A key aspect of your role will involve gathering and synthesizing information from suppliers and internal teams regarding product availability, pricing dynamics, and emerging market trends. This intelligence will inform your strategic decisions and ensure our offering remains relevant and competitive.
- • You will be the central point of contact for your categories, bridging the gap between supplier capabilities and customer needs. This requires a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for assortment expansion, margin improvement, and enhanced customer value.
