📋 Description
- • The CDI Reconciliation Auditor is responsible for performing detailed quality reviews and reconciliations of clinical documentation and coding outcomes, with a focus on DRG validation and Physician Audit reviews, ensuring documentation supports accurate coding and billing practices in compliance with regulatory and payer requirements.
- • Day-to-day duties include conducting reconciliations of CDI and coding outcomes to align with final DRG assignments, reviewing discrepancies between CDI specialists and coders, performing quality audits on Physician Audit reviews, identifying trends in documentation and coding errors, providing feedback and education to teams, collaborating on process improvements, and preparing regular reports on audit outcomes and key metrics.
