📋 Description

• As a CDI Specialist, RN/BSN, CCDS (FT/REMOTE) at CorroHealth, Inc., you will play a critical role in enhancing the accuracy, specificity, and completeness of clinical documentation to support proper DRG assignment, severity of illness, and risk of mortality reporting—directly impacting reimbursement and quality outcomes for healthcare clients.
• Day to day, you will conduct clinical documentation reviews, analyze medical records for documentation opportunities, issue physician queries when appropriate following AHIMA guidelines, collaborate with physicians and nursing staff, and ensure timely and accurate chart reviews to meet productivity and quality standards.
• You will join a mission-driven team at CorroHealth, a company dedicated to helping clients exceed financial health goals through scalable solutions, clinical expertise, and leading technology that enables data-driven accountability across the reimbursement cycle.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in clinical documentation improvement, strengthen your analytical and communication skills, and grow professionally through CME allowances, certification support, and clear pathways for career advancement within the organization.

🎯 Requirements

• Current RN license
• CCDS or CDIP certification required (or willingness to obtain CCDS within 6 months of employment)
• Three years of CDI experience
• Two or more years of clinical experience in an acute care setting preferred
• Experience with telecommuting, EMRs, and electronic tools
• Strong analytical and Microsoft Office skills
