- • Vynca is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our innovative remote healthcare team. In this pivotal role, you will provide essential administrative support to our clinical staff, working primarily via video conference to ensure the seamless delivery of comprehensive care for individuals with complex needs. You will be an integral part of our interdisciplinary team, contributing directly to our mission of enabling more quality days at home for our patients.
- • As a remote CMA at Vynca, you will operate with a high degree of independence, leveraging technology to connect with patients and colleagues. Your responsibilities will encompass a broad range of administrative and coordination tasks, all aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our care delivery model. You will be the first point of contact for many administrative needs, ensuring that communication flows smoothly between patients, clinical staff, and external providers.
- • Key responsibilities include managing all incoming correspondence and routing it to the appropriate team members, as well as proactively requesting and obtaining necessary patient records. You will be expected to correspond with outside providers as needed, facilitating the exchange of critical health information. A significant aspect of your role will involve actively participating in the interdisciplinary team, ensuring that all care coordination activities and patient needs are clearly communicated and addressed.
- • You will play a crucial role in supporting both patients and team members in utilizing videoconferencing technology, ensuring accessibility and ease of use for remote consultations. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient health records within our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system and other Vynca data systems is paramount. This includes meticulously documenting all interactions, updates, and relevant patient information.
- • Scheduling is another core function, where you will manage the scheduling of home visits and video conference appointments for the clinical team, optimizing their time and ensuring patient needs are met promptly. You will also be responsible for preparing new patient packets, ensuring that all necessary documentation and information are provided to new individuals joining our Vynca family.
- • Furthermore, you will assist with TARS (Transportation Authorization Request System) and other authorizations, as well as manage communication with pharmacies regarding prescriptions and refills. Coordinating patient transportation for medical appointments with contracted transportation companies and payers is a vital part of ensuring continuity of care.
- • Your contribution extends to assisting in the smooth day-to-day operations of the virtual office environment, ensuring that administrative processes are efficient and effective. This includes monitoring and managing the ordering of office supplies to ensure the team has the necessary resources to perform their duties.
- • This role requires a proactive approach, excellent organizational skills, and a strong commitment to patient care. You will be a key liaison, bridging the gap between administrative tasks and clinical outcomes, ultimately contributing to Vynca's goal of providing exceptional care and improving the lives of those we serve. Your ability to adapt to a remote work environment and effectively utilize technology will be essential for success in this dynamic position.
