- • As a Charge Capture Rules Analyst at Waystar, you will maintain and enhance the Charge Integrity SaaS solution’s proprietary Big Data charge capture functionality, directly contributing to improved revenue cycle outcomes for healthcare providers by identifying missed charges and coding variances.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include performing updates and ongoing maintenance to data elements using applied mathematics, utilizing SQL to maintain evidence-based charge integrity rules, recommending and assisting in implementing solutions to complex issues, and actively participating in meetings and discussions related to Charge Integrity SaaS Solution performance.
- • You will join Waystar, a trusted healthcare payments platform serving over 1M+ providers, 1K+ hospitals, and 5K+ payers, known for its innovative cloud-based technology, robust data, and commitment to values like honesty, kindness, passion, and fanatical focus.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in revenue cycle management, healthcare charging practices, and data analytics while developing advanced SQL and Excel skills, gaining exposure to healthcare industry trends, and contributing to meaningful improvements in client financial outcomes through collaborative, detail-oriented problem-solving.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor degree or higher
- • Capable of analyzing large quantities of data, identifying patterns, and summarizing by priority
- • Knowledge of charge capture terminology and charge capture best practices
- • Understanding of SQL and database structures
- • Background in revenue integrity, revenue cycle, or healthcare coding
- • Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills
