- • Serve as the senior-most technical advisor to CIOs, CTOs, and senior business stakeholders of flagship enterprise customers, providing executive-level guidance on technology strategy and transformation.
- • Own and shape long-term customer architecture and automation strategies aligned to business priorities, enterprise standards, and multi-year roadmaps using the Workato platform.
- • Lead executive discussions on platform adoption, governance maturity, operating models, and technology investment decisions to drive sustained business value at scale.
- • Guide customers through AI and agentic automation journeys, leveraging Workato’s AI capabilities to design agent-based workflows, human-in-the-loop models, and decision automation systems.
- • Advise on enterprise MCP (Model Context Platform) strategies including context management across applications and data, secure orchestration of AI agents, and governance for AI-driven systems.
- • Align AI and automation initiatives with enterprise security, compliance, and risk requirements to ensure scalable, governed implementations.
- • Translate emerging AI capabilities into practical, scalable enterprise use cases that deliver measurable business outcomes and operational efficiencies.
- • Drive software expansion, adoption depth, and renewal confidence by identifying and shaping multi-year opportunities tied to automation, integration, and AI transformation.
- • Partner with Account Executives and Customer Success leadership to align technical strategy with commercial goals, mitigate account risks, and secure executive buy-in.
- • Track, articulate, and executive-report value realization outcomes linked to Workato adoption, demonstrating ROI through quantifiable business impact.
- • Lead high-impact professional services engagements requiring deep architectural judgment, applying Workato’s advisory methodologies such as GEARS and Embedded Product Guide.
- • Define and enforce architecture principles, standards, and guardrails across customer implementations to ensure scalability, security, and alignment with enterprise objectives.
- • Act as escalation authority for non-standard architectures, AI design exceptions, and complex technical trade-offs requiring executive-level resolution.
- • Advise on enterprise operating models that enable scalable automation and AI adoption across departments and systems.
- • Contribute to the evolution of Workato’s architecture frameworks, AI patterns, and best practices based on real-world customer deployments.
- • Create reusable executive-level assets including reference architectures, strategy decks, and white papers to support sales, customer success, and partner enablement.
- • Serve as a Workato evangelist by articulating platform value in automation, integration, and AI to internal teams and external stakeholders.
- • Mentor and enable Strategic Advisors, Technical Architects, and extended post-sales teams to elevate technical advisory capabilities across the organization.
- • Support partner enablement and delivery excellence to ensure consistent, high-quality implementation of Workato solutions across the ecosystem.
- • Travel to client sites up to 50% of the time, with potential variation based on customer needs and operational demands.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- • 20+ years of technology transformation consulting experience, including integration, middleware, or API management platforms
- • 15+ years in an Enterprise Architect, Digital Architect, or similar senior architecture role
- • Demonstrated experience advising C-level executives on technology strategy and enterprise transformation
- • Strong understanding of enterprise security, governance, and operating models
- • Proven track record of driving platform expansion and value realization through professional services
