- • Serve as the primary executive technical advisor to customer CIOs, CTOs, and senior business stakeholders, providing strategic guidance on enterprise automation and AI adoption.
- • Own the long-term customer architecture and automation strategy, ensuring alignment with business priorities, enterprise standards, and technology roadmaps.
- • Lead executive-level discussions on platform adoption, operating models, governance maturity, and technology investment decisions for flagship accounts.
- • Act as the single point of accountability for post-sales technical strategy and architectural decisions across high-priority enterprise clients.
- • Shape and guide customers’ AI and agentic automation journeys by leveraging Workato’s AI capabilities, agent-based workflows, and human-in-the-loop models.
- • Advise on the design and adoption of enterprise MCP (Model Context Platform) strategies, including context management, secure orchestration of AI agents, and governance for AI-driven systems.
- • Translate emerging AI capabilities into practical, scalable enterprise use cases that deliver measurable business outcomes while aligning with security, compliance, and risk requirements.
- • Drive software expansion, adoption depth, and renewal confidence through strategic advisory, roadmap alignment, and value realization tracking.
- • Partner with Account Executives and Customer Success leadership to develop account strategy, mitigate risks, and secure executive alignment on automation and AI initiatives.
- • Lead high-impact professional services engagements requiring executive-level judgment, architectural depth, and advisory expertise using Workato’s GEARS and Embedded Product Guide methodologies.
- • Guide customers through enterprise automation target-state definition, prioritization of integration and AI use cases, advanced prototyping, and recipe/agent lifecycle management best practices.
- • Define and enforce architecture principles, standards, and guardrails across customer implementations to ensure scalability, security, and alignment with long-term enterprise objectives.
- • Act as escalation authority for non-standard architectures, AI design exceptions, and complex technical trade-offs requiring senior-level decision-making.
- • Contribute to the evolution of Workato’s architecture frameworks, AI patterns, and best practices to enhance platform capabilities and customer outcomes.
- • Create reusable executive-level assets including reference architectures, strategy decks, and white papers to support sales, customer success, and market positioning.
- • Serve as a Workato evangelist by articulating platform value across automation, integration, and AI to internal teams, customers, and partners.
- • Mentor and enable Strategic Advisors, Technical Architects, and extended post-sales teams to elevate technical advisory capabilities across the organization.
- • Support partner enablement and delivery excellence by aligning ecosystem partners with Workato’s architectural standards and customer success methodologies.
- • Travel to client sites up to 50% of the time, with potential for higher or lower frequency based on operational needs and client demands.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- • 20+ years of technology transformation consulting experience, including integration, middleware, or API management platforms
- • 15+ years in an Enterprise Architect, Digital Architect, or similar senior architecture role
- • Demonstrated experience advising C-level executives on technology strategy and enterprise transformation
- • Strong understanding of enterprise security, governance, and operating models
- • Proven track record of driving platform expansion and value realization through professional services
