📋 Description

• Serve as the primary executive technical advisor to customer CIOs, CTOs, and senior business stakeholders, guiding strategic technology decisions and platform adoption.
• Own the long-term customer architecture and automation strategy, ensuring alignment with business priorities, enterprise standards, and long-term operational goals.
• Lead executive-level discussions on platform governance, operating models, technology investment decisions, and AI-driven transformation initiatives.
• Act as the single point of accountability for post-sales technical strategy and architectural decisions for flagship enterprise accounts.
• Shape and guide customers’ AI and agentic automation journeys by leveraging Workato’s AI capabilities, agent-based workflows, and human-in-the-loop models.
• Advise on the design and adoption of enterprise MCP (Model Context Platform) strategies, including context management across applications, secure orchestration of AI agents, and governance for AI-driven systems.
• Align AI and agentic automation initiatives with enterprise security, compliance, and risk requirements to ensure scalable and trusted implementation.
• Translate emerging AI capabilities into practical, scalable enterprise use cases that deliver measurable business outcomes and operational efficiency.
• Drive software expansion, adoption depth, and renewal confidence through strategic advisory, roadmap alignment, and value realization tracking.
• Identify and shape multi-year expansion opportunities tied to automation, integration, and AI-driven transformation across flagship accounts.
• Partner with Account Executives and Customer Success leadership to align on account strategy, risk mitigation, and executive-level buy-in.
• Track, articulate, and executive-report quantifiable value realization outcomes linked to Workato platform adoption and usage.
• Lead high-impact professional services engagements requiring executive-level judgment, architectural depth, and cross-functional coordination.
• Apply and evolve Workato’s advisory methodologies, including GEARS and Embedded Product Guide, across diverse customer environments.
• Guide customers through enterprise automation target-state definition, prioritization of integration and AI use cases, advanced prototyping, and recipe/agent lifecycle management.
• Advise on enterprise operating models that enable scalable, sustainable automation and AI adoption across departments and systems.
• Define and enforce architecture principles, standards, and guardrails across customer implementations to ensure scalability, security, and alignment with enterprise objectives.
• Act as escalation authority for non-standard architectures, AI design exceptions, and complex technical trade-offs requiring executive-level resolution.
• Guide customers on governance models covering integration, automation, and AI agent lifecycle management.
• Contribute to the evolution of Workato’s architecture frameworks, AI patterns, and best practices based on real-world enterprise deployments.
• Create reusable executive-level assets such as reference architectures, strategy decks, and white papers to support sales, customer success, and partner enablement.
• Serve as a Workato evangelist, articulating platform value across automation, integration, and AI to internal and external stakeholders.
• Mentor and enable Strategic Advisors, Technical Architects, and extended post-sales teams to elevate technical advisory capabilities across the organization.
• Support partner enablement and delivery excellence across the Workato ecosystem to ensure consistent, high-quality customer outcomes.
• Travel to client sites up to 50% of the time, with potential for higher or lower frequency based on business needs and prevailing circumstances.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 20+ years of technology transformation consulting experience, including integration, middleware, or API management platforms
• 15+ years in an Enterprise Architect, Digital Architect, or similar senior architecture role
• Demonstrated experience advising C-level executives on technology strategy and enterprise transformation
• Strong understanding of enterprise security, governance, and operating models
• Proven track record of driving platform expansion and value realization through professional services
