📋 Description

• The Chief Operating Officer at Cable One, Inc. will lead the company’s consumer residential and mobile businesses with full P&L accountability, driving performance across brand, sales, marketing, customer experience, care, field operations, and digital evolution to unlock growth and strengthen market position.
• Day to day, the COO will partner with the CEO and executive team to define and execute a forward-looking strategy, oversee customer lifecycle management from acquisition to retention, lead digital transformation and network evolution initiatives, optimize pricing and packaging, and champion an associate-first culture through talent development and succession planning.
• Cable One is a telecommunications provider based in Phoenix, Arizona, serving customers across 24 states, with a focus on delivering broadband and mobile services while evolving toward fiber and next-generation DOCSIS technologies to maintain competitive advantage.
• In this role, the COO will develop strategic leadership skills in a complex, fast-evolving market, gain deep experience in driving profitable growth at scale, and shape the long-term direction of a major consumer broadband business while building high-performing teams and influencing board-level decisions.

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years of senior leadership experience in the telecommunications industry, preferably at a consumer broadband company, with direct accountability for approximately 1.5 million customers or $1.5–$1.7 billion in annual revenue
• Proven ability to drive subscriber growth, reduce churn, and optimize market penetration through customer satisfaction and commercial execution in a recurring revenue business
• Strong financial acumen with experience in capital allocation, strategic market expansion, IRR-focused planning, and M&A activity
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Telecommunications, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
