Claims Adjuster

📋 Description

• • As a Claims Adjuster at Kin Insurance, you will guide customers through the claims process with empathy and clarity, helping them navigate property damage situations with confidence while investigating and managing claims from a variety of perils to ensure timely, fair resolutions.
• • Day to day, you will examine and interpret insureds’ policies and records to determine coverage and liability, maintain active communication with customers, draft and adjust damage estimates, conduct investigations using recorded statements, property inspections, and documentation review, partner with field appraisers on home estimates and repairs, estimate repair or replacement costs, write clear diary notes, set field assignments, save contacts, issue payments, and apply knowledge of multiple state statutes including insurance codes of ethics and regulations.

• • In this role, you will develop expertise in managing full caseloads of first-party property claims from first notice of loss through resolution, strengthen your command of state-specific regulations and compliance requirements, and gain experience in catastrophe claims handling in high-risk states, positioning you as a trusted owner of meaningful work who improves operations and contributes to Kin’s mission of fixing insurance for those who need it most.
