- • As a Claims Advocate at Baldwin Technology Company Inc., you will proactively manage insurance claims and secure favorable resolutions for clients in Financial Lines, Cyber, and Transactional Liability Practices, playing a critical role in protecting client interests through expert coverage analysis and advocacy.
- • Day to day, you will provide coverage and wording advice to clients and brokers, report new claims promptly, assist with insurer consent for counsel and settlements, analyze reservation-of-rights letters, facilitate client meetings with insurers, advocate during coverage disputes, maintain accurate records, collaborate with brokers on renewals and RFPs, build strong client and insurer relationships, and author white papers and publications.
- • You will join Baldwin’s respected Legal & Claims Practice, a team of industry experts working closely with CAC brokers to deliver tailored insurance solutions across complex risk areas including D&O, E&O, employment practices, cyber, fiduciary, crime, kidnap and ransom, and representations and warranties.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in specialty insurance claims, sharpen your analytical and advocacy skills, build influential client and insurer relationships, and contribute to thought leadership through publications—positioning yourself as a trusted advisor in high-stakes financial and cyber risk management.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree required (paralegal certification is beneficial)
- • 7-10 years relevant work experience required
- • Strong multitasking, organizational, and time management skills
- • Strong communication and relationship management skills
- • Strong analytical skills
- • Ability to engage with and present confidently to clients and prospects, as well as internally
- • Ability to identify client needs and provide solutions to address those needs
- • Ability to set realistic client expectations and deliver in a time-sensitive environment
- • Strong expertise in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- • High level of professionalism and confidentiality
