- • Claims Examiner - Workers Compensation role at Sedgwick Claims Management Services, Inc., a global leader in claims management, where you will adjudicate complex workers' compensation claims to determine benefits due, manage high-exposure claims involving litigation and rehabilitation, and ensure timely resolution within service expectations and client requirements.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing and processing complex claims, negotiating settlements, calculating and assigning reserves, paying benefits due, preparing state filings, managing litigation, coordinating vendor referrals, applying cost containment techniques, managing claim recoveries, reporting to excess carriers, communicating claim activity with claimants and clients, ensuring proper documentation and coding, and traveling as required.
