Your role is pivotal in enabling phData’s clients to successfully formulate and realize their ambitious AI and Data goals. You will achieve this by expertly bridging phData’s profound technical expertise with your own established credibility, strategic foresight, and deep industry knowledge. You are expected to be a trusted advisor, bringing extensive relevant industry experience, consulting acumen, sharp business understanding, and robust technology fluency to every client interaction.
  • • This position is ideally suited for a driven professional eager to build and lead high-value, enduring relationships with some of the world's most innovative data-driven organizations. You will be operating within one of the leading pure-play data, analytics, and AI consultancies in the market, contributing to our continued success and expansion.
  • • The role has a specific geographical focus, with a strong preference for candidates located in the Central region of the U.S., particularly within the Chicago metro, Minneapolis metro, and Texas areas. While remote work is supported across the U.S., proximity to these key hubs is advantageous for client engagement.
  • • We have a particular interest in candidates with proven experience within the Restaurant/Hospitality or Technology sectors, as this industry-specific knowledge will be highly valuable in understanding and addressing client needs.
  • • Your primary responsibilities will include developing and executing comprehensive account strategies. You will lead a diverse portfolio of strategic accounts across various industries, crafting and implementing long-term growth plans in close collaboration with phData’s Go-to-Market, Delivery, and Partner teams. This strategic planning is crucial for sustained success and client satisfaction.
  • • You will be directly accountable for revenue generation and profitability targets, aiming to deliver between $5 million to $15 million+ in annual bookings. This will involve securing both net-new business and driving expansion within existing accounts, ensuring profitable and scalable growth across your entire account portfolio.
  • • A key aspect of this role is building and maintaining strong executive relationships. You will cultivate a trusted advisor status with C-suite executives and senior business leaders, leading strategic discussions that span both business objectives and technological roadmaps. Your ability to influence and guide these conversations is paramount.
  • • You will actively champion client outcomes, maintaining approximately 40% utilization by staying closely involved in the delivery of client programs. This hands-on engagement ensures that phData delivers high-impact results and achieves exceptional levels of client satisfaction, reinforcing our reputation for excellence.
  • • Elevating phData’s brand presence within your target industries is another critical function. You will represent phData at key industry events, conferences, and panels, actively contributing to the growth of our presence and reputation within your designated vertical markets.
  • • Leveraging our strong ecosystem partnerships is essential. You will activate and grow strategic alliances with key technology partners, such as Snowflake and AWS, to deliver enhanced value to clients and accelerate business growth opportunities.
  • • You will lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, fostering seamless collaboration across Go-to-Market, Delivery, Finance, and Product teams. This alignment is vital for ensuring account health, driving project success, and identifying future opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • • To succeed, you will bring over 10 years of consulting experience within your target vertical, or equivalent deep in-house industry experience. You must demonstrate a proven ability to own and scale a strategic account portfolio, engaging in meaningful business and technology discussions beyond just selling services.
  • • A strong track record of owning and growing strategic accounts, including direct responsibility for $5–15M+ in annual revenue targets, is required. You should also possess hands-on experience collaborating with data and technology teams, working closely with data engineering, analytics, and ML teams to design, sell, and oversee the implementation of modern data solutions, including data platforms, pipelines, governance, analytics, and AI.
  • • You must have a demonstrated ability to build executive relationships and influence strategic roadmaps across both IT and business stakeholders. Your credibility should be built on tangible, significant results, evidenced by a long tenure in roles where you drove substantial revenue, retention, and/or transformation outcomes.
  • • Experience working within matrixed organizations and effectively influencing cross-functional teams to achieve client success is crucial. A willingness and ability to travel up to 50%, depending on client needs and business priorities, is also a requirement for this role.
