- • Lead overall account and territory strategy to drive year-over-year growth and retention for global insurance clients of substantial strategic and revenue importance.
- • Gain access to and develop trust-based, value-added relationships with senior-most technology leaders and their teams within large multinational insurance enterprises.
- • Develop exemplary account solutions and license architectures by building a clear account vision and driving execution toward the intended client outcome.
- • Orchestrate and marshal account planning and execution with internal sales teams and cross-business unit partners to ensure cohesive client delivery.
- • Lead, coach, and develop a team of one to three direct report sales associates using Gartner’s validated recruitment and performance methodologies.
- • Attract and retain top sales talent by building a robust pipeline of candidates for open roles within the team.
- • Drive high-activity prospecting strategies and ensure consistent execution across the assigned territory.
- • Become a trusted advisor to clients across all their primary global locations by offering strategic, insightful, and value-added guidance.
- • Manage quota responsibility aligned to a specific multinational insurance account with accountability for forecast accuracy on monthly, quarterly, and annual bases.
- • Build and demonstrate mastery of Gartner’s sales methodology, products, and proprietary insights specific to the insurance vertical.
- • Drive consistent execution of Gartner’s proven best practices in consultative selling, client engagement, and account management.
- • Understand enterprise-wide technology buying centers, procurement processes, and decision-making structures within large global insurance organizations.
- • Translate client business strategies, goals, and initiatives into actionable opportunities that maximize value delivery and uncover new revenue streams.
- • Maintain and leverage competitive intelligence to position Gartner’s offerings effectively against market alternatives.
- • Utilize business application proficiency (PowerPoint, CRM tools, Word, Excel) to deliver compelling presentations and manage client data effectively.
- • Navigate the full lifecycle of the sales process from initial engagement through renewal and expansion.
- • Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive, and team-oriented culture that prioritizes client success and professional growth.
🎯 Requirements
- • 15+ years of experience with 10+ years of sales experience; past leadership experience strongly preferred
- • Track record of success in a quota-bearing consultative selling environment, preferably in high technology (services or software) sales
- • Experience owning and developing trust-based relationships with C-Level and senior executives in large multinational companies
- • Proficient in global account planning, territory management, and developing solution/license architectures
- • Proven ability to understand enterprise-wide issues and structure innovative, integrated IT decision-support solutions for global companies
- • Comprehensive understanding of technology buying centers and procurement processes in large global accounts
