📋 Description

• As a Client Engagement Specialist, Social - Fixed Term at Kraken, you will serve as the frontline voice of the company across social media platforms, ensuring exceptional client support and community engagement in the fast-paced world of cryptocurrency. This fully remote, 6-month fixed-term role is critical to maintaining Kraken’s reputation for six-star service by monitoring, responding to, and guiding client interactions in real time, particularly within Mandarin-speaking communities, while upholding the company’s mission to accelerate global crypto adoption and financial inclusion.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities will include monitoring Kraken’s official social channels (including X, Reddit, Telegram, Discord, Facebook, and Instagram) to promptly address client inquiries, troubleshoot account-related issues, and provide accurate guidance on products and services; actively engaging with both existing and potential clients to foster positive community sentiment and grow Kraken’s social presence; moderating discussions to ensure respectful, constructive conversations in line with community guidelines; collaborating with internal teams such as Product, Compliance, and Support to escalate and resolve complex issues; participating in regular team meetings, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to stay updated on crypto trends, platform updates, and internal processes; and continuously refining your approach to deliver consistent, empathetic, and six-star service in every public interaction.
• You will join the CE Social (Customer Experience Social) team, a dedicated group of industry pioneers who act as Kraken’s eyes and ears in the social landscape, representing the brand publicly with authenticity and precision. This team prides itself on fast, empathetic communication, proactive problem-solving, and a deep commitment to client care and community trust. As a fully remote company with team members across 70+ countries and over 50 languages spoken, you’ll collaborate in a diverse, inclusive environment where crypto conviction and cultural awareness are valued as much as technical skill.
• In this role, you will develop advanced expertise in social media community management within the crypto industry, sharpen your crisis communication and multitasking abilities under pressure, and gain deep insight into Kraken’s product ecosystem—including Kraken Pro, Futures, Wallet, and Desktop—while contributing directly to the company’s mission of driving global crypto adoption. You’ll also build cross-functional collaboration skills, enhance your cultural fluency in engaging Mandarin-speaking users, and grow professionally in a high-performing, mission-driven team that values initiative, adaptability, and a genuine passion for blockchain technology and financial empowerment.

🎯 Requirements

• Native-level Mandarin (Chinese) proficiency with strong English communication skills (written and spoken)
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with multiple social media platforms such as X, Reddit, Telegram, Discord, Facebook, and Instagram, preferably within the crypto or fintech space
• Proven experience in social media management, community management, or online community moderation, with the ability to handle high-volume interactions calmly and professionally
