  • • The Client Manager, Surety - Construction Practice is a vital role within Baldwin Technology Company Inc.'s Construction Practice/Insurance Advisory Solutions group, responsible for supporting the Surety Team in delivering expert commercial insurance and risk management services to clients across the U.S. and abroad.
  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining accurate client files in the Agency Management System, composing professional business correspondence, performing accounting/math functions such as invoicing and premium allocation, monitoring claims, attending client meetings with Advisors or Directors of Risk Management, assisting coworkers with client inquiries, managing day-to-day account activities including policy reviews, contract reviews, renewal document preparation, marketing and negotiating insurance programs, filing surplus lines, reviewing leases and financial statements, counseling clients on coverage and exposure, seeking referrals for new business, and cultivating relationships with insurance company partners.

  • • In this role, the individual will develop deep expertise in surety bonds and construction risk management, strengthen client advisory and relationship management skills, gain proficiency in insurance agency systems and processes, and contribute to business growth through new business development and process improvement initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Previous experience in executing bonds is required.
  • • 3-5+ years of experience in a Commercial Account/Client Manager role.
  • • Ability to obtain and maintain a state insurance license(s) as required by the State Department of Insurance, or willingness to obtain all required licenses within the first 90 days of employment.
  • • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • • Demonstrated effective presentation skills through both verbal and written communications.
  • • Knowledge of Tinubu/SurePath, iAutomate/Erlon, and EPIC is a plus.
