📋 Description
- • The Client Onboarding Executive will set new clients up for success from the moment they join the Accounting-as-a-Service product, ensuring a smooth transition into long-term service by guiding startup founders and small business owners through compliance, tools, and responsibilities.
- • Day to day, the role involves leading 30–45 minute structured onboarding video calls using a prepared script, walking clients through statutory obligations like VAT, PAYE, and Corporation Tax, providing guided orientation of accounting tools such as Xero, identifying additional service needs, accurately capturing client details in internal systems, documenting handovers to Customer Service and Retention teams, spotting early risks of disengagement, and contributing to process improvements.
- • 1st Formations is a leading UK provider of company formation and compliance services, operating a modern, fully integrated technology platform that combines formation, compliance, accounting, payroll, and business support in one cohesive experience. The company is a Certified B Corp and Carbon Neutral Business with over 1 million companies formed, £18m annual revenue (including £9m ARR), and forecasted 5x–10x growth over the next three years.
- • In this role, the person will develop strong client communication and onboarding expertise, gain deep familiarity with UK small business compliance requirements, build process improvement skills, and position themselves for clear progression pathways as the company scales, all while working in a hybrid model that values ownership, impact, and continuous improvement.
