You will act as a trusted strategic advisor to a key client, leveraging your expertise in both brand and performance marketing to guide them towards achieving their ambitious objectives.
  • • You will be instrumental in providing strategic oversight, translating client business objectives into actionable strategies, and orchestrating Jellyfish's capabilities to deliver exceptional, data-driven solutions. This involves a deep dive into understanding the client's market landscape, competitive environment, and overarching business goals to ensure our proposed solutions are not just effective, but transformative.
  • • A core responsibility is the development and meticulous oversight of client growth plans. You will work collaboratively with internal teams and the client to define ambitious yet achievable targets, continuously monitoring progress and adapting strategies to ensure consistent achievement throughout the year. This proactive approach to growth is essential for building long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • • Driving innovation is at the heart of this role. You will represent Jellyfish in marketing endeavors, actively staying abreast of the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving consumer behaviors. By building an external voice and thought leadership, you will position Jellyfish as a forward-thinking partner and contribute to the agency's reputation for cutting-edge solutions.
  • • You will play a crucial role in new business development, often leading pitches in close partnership with the Growth team. This includes developing compelling commercial proposals, assembling and motivating dedicated teams, and crafting a persuasive narrative that clearly articulates Jellyfish's value proposition and outlines achievable deliverables and timelines.
  • • Providing strategic guidance and support to Account Directors and Client Management teams is paramount. You will ensure seamless collaboration, consistent messaging, and a unified approach across all client interactions, fostering a cohesive and high-performing client service function.
  • • Conducting comprehensive Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) will be a regular duty, alongside client relationship surveys and detailed notes from key meetings. Based on these insights, you will recommend strategic actions to continuously optimize client relationships, enhance ways of working, and drive greater value for the client and Jellyfish.
  • • You will hold accountability for the accuracy of client forecast submissions and the meticulous management of account financial operations, including billing, in close coordination with the internal finance team. This ensures financial transparency and operational efficiency.
  • • Your expertise in paid media will be leveraged to lead client accounts, ensuring paid media strategies are seamlessly integrated with creative, content, and earned media efforts to achieve holistic client outcomes. This requires a nuanced understanding of how different marketing disciplines work in concert.
  • • A strong commercial acumen is essential for building robust staffing plans, defining clear Service Level Agreements (SLAs), managing project scope effectively, and optimizing account profitability.
  • • The ability to adapt your approach across a breadth of sectors and capabilities is highly valued, particularly experience working cross-market or managing large enterprise accounts, demonstrating versatility and broad industry insight.
  • • Your experience in new business, including owning a pitch narrative and managing the end-to-end process, will be critical in driving agency growth.
  • • Exceptional communication and presentation skills are required to consistently deliver clear, persuasive, and actionable recommendations to both internal teams and clients, fostering understanding and buy-in.
  • • You will strategically leverage data and tools, such as Google Analytics, to analyze performance, derive meaningful insights, and guide decision-making that optimizes client outcomes and maximizes return on investment.
  • • Strategic thinking involves anticipating client needs, proactively identifying opportunities for growth and improvement, and driving tangible results that exceed expectations.
