Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • As a Client Services Analyst III at Zinnia Tech Inc., you will serve as a critical liaison between clients and internal delivery teams, ensuring that client requirements are accurately captured, documented, and successfully implemented within the Client Implementation Services (CIS) team. Your role directly contributes to Zinnia’s mission of accelerating life and annuities growth by enabling seamless deployment of software platforms that help over 2 million policyholders protect their financial futures.
- • You will act as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, managing all internal and external communications with professionalism and timeliness. This includes responding to client inquiries via email and phone, providing regular status updates to the Client Implementation Manager—including escalations, risks, and unresolved issues—and advocating for Zinnia’s policies while skillfully managing client expectations and resolving conflicts to maintain strong, trust-based relationships.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will center on business analysis and requirements management: analyzing client business objectives, processes, and operational needs; eliciting, documenting, and validating business and system requirements; defining project scope and solutions to support Statements of Work (SOWs) and Software Requirements Specifications (SRS); developing detailed deliverables for production deployment; and reviewing enhancement and change request requirements to ensure clarity before development begins.
- • You will support the full implementation lifecycle by coordinating with cross-functional, geographically distributed teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery. This includes assisting in build, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-launch activities for new distributor or carrier platforms; tracking issues and risks; driving resolution in collaboration with technical and functional teams; and supporting client testing efforts for enhancements and change requests.
- • You will actively participate in smoke testing, release meetings, and deployment activities; debug product profiles (PPfL/PPfA) and PDF forms across test and production environments; and maintain up-to-date familiarity with Zinnia’s operating systems and platform changes to assess and communicate potential client impact.
- • Using Zinnia’s tools such as JIRA and Redmine, you will manage business prioritization, deployment tracking, billing, and support activities; prepare and maintain comprehensive project and client documentation; train clients on system usage; assist in developing training materials; and document meeting minutes while tracking action items to closure.
- • You will collaborate with a diverse, innovative team at Zinnia—a company managing over $180 billion in assets under administration, serving 100+ carrier clients, 2,500 distributors and partners, and over 2 million policyholders. The company’s core values—be bold, team up, deliver value—are embedded in every aspect of work, fostering an environment where your contributions directly impact the evolution of insurance technology.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in business analysis within the financial services and insurance technology domain, gain hands-on experience with SaaS/web-based platforms, and strengthen your ability to navigate complex, distributed team environments. You will develop advanced skills in requirements documentation, stakeholder management, and solution validation—positioning yourself for growth into senior analyst, project lead, or implementation management roles within Zinnia’s expanding global delivery organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree (4-year college degree)
- • 4+ years of relevant professional experience, with at least 3 years in a Business Analyst role
- • Proven ability to independently author Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and Software Requirements Specifications (SRS)
🏖️ Benefits
- • Collaborate with smart, creative professionals dedicated to delivering cutting-edge technologies and enhanced services in the insurance technology space
- • Opportunity to work with a market leader managing over $180 billion in assets under administration and serving 2+ million policyholders
