- • As a Clinical Supervisor at Expressable Inc., you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of family-led online speech therapy. This full-time, exempt position is designed for a dedicated leader who is passionate about fostering clinical excellence and empowering a team of Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to deliver exceptional care. You will be a first-line clinical and operational leader, responsible for the day-to-day coaching, support, and supervision of your team, ensuring the highest standards of quality, therapist success, and client satisfaction.
- • Your responsibilities will span both direct clinical care and leadership, reflecting the dynamic needs of our growing organization. Approximately 35% of your time will be dedicated to supervisory duties, focusing on the professional development and operational efficiency of your SLP team. This includes conducting regular one-on-one meetings tailored to clinical coaching, skill refinement, mentorship, and career advancement. You will be instrumental in ensuring your team is proficient with Expressable’s proprietary tools, such as Cue, Slack, Reach, and Guru, identifying and addressing any training needs to optimize their workflow.
- • A key aspect of your role will be to guide your team in navigating Expressable’s comprehensive knowledge base, ensuring adherence to all company policies, procedures, and best practices. You will act as a crucial liaison, effectively communicating organizational updates and strategic initiatives, ensuring clear comprehension and actionable insights for your SLPs. Managing and resolving clinical escalations in collaboration with other organizational leaders will also be a significant part of your duties, ensuring swift and effective solutions.
- • You will be responsible for hosting engaging monthly team meetings designed to foster a strong sense of community, collaboration, and shared commitment to clinical excellence. The emphasis will be on reinforcing Expressable’s unique model of client care and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Building strong, supportive relationships with your treating SLPs is paramount, cultivating an environment that encourages growth, open communication, and bidirectional feedback.
- • Performance and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) ownership is central to this role. You will meticulously track and analyze KPIs for your assigned team members, focusing on areas such as SLP efficiency, quality of care delivered, documentation compliance, and client satisfaction and engagement. By analyzing individual and team trends, you will identify performance strengths and areas requiring development, leveraging data insights to inform your leadership strategies. You will be empowered to implement data-driven performance interventions, including setting standards, developing intervention plans, and providing constructive counseling when necessary.
- • Approximately 65% of your role will involve direct clinical care. This includes conducting evaluations and providing therapy sessions to a caseload that will be managed flexibly to meet organizational demands. You will serve as a role model for clinical excellence, staying abreast of the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology. This hands-on involvement ensures you remain connected to the core mission of Expressable and can provide relevant, informed support to your team.
- • This position is ideal for a seasoned SLP who thrives in a leadership capacity and is passionate about making a tangible impact on client outcomes and therapist development. You will be at the forefront of innovation in telehealth speech therapy, contributing to a mission-driven organization that is redefining access to care. Your leadership will directly influence the quality of services provided, the professional growth of your team, and the overall success of Expressable’s client-centered approach. The remote nature of this role offers flexibility, but requires a commitment to supporting clients and colleagues across various time zones, with a need for afternoon and evening availability to accommodate client schedules.
