Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • As a Clinician Education Specialist at Ambience Healthcare, you will be at the forefront of our mission to restore humanity to healthcare by ensuring our clinician partners seamlessly adopt and master our AI-powered documentation and clinical workflow solutions. This is a critical, high-impact role where you will own the entire clinician onboarding journey, from initial introduction to full activation, directly influencing user satisfaction and long-term success.
  • • Your primary responsibility will be to deliver exceptional onboarding experiences that empower clinicians to feel confident, supported, and proficient from day one. You will facilitate engaging group and individual training sessions, meticulously tailored to meet the diverse needs and workflows of healthcare professionals across various settings, including ambulatory, emergency, and inpatient environments.
  • • You will act as a vital bridge between our innovative technology and the end-users, translating complex AI functionalities into simple, actionable guidance. Your ability to empathize with clinicians, understand their daily challenges, and communicate effectively will be paramount in fostering rapid adoption and driving meaningful ROI for our health system partners.
  • • A key aspect of this role involves continuous process improvement. You will be expected to identify opportunities to enhance our onboarding methodologies, tools, and materials. This includes proactively gathering feedback from clinicians and internal teams, implementing at least three significant onboarding workflow improvements per quarter, and contributing to the evolution of our scalable onboarding systems.
  • • You will take ownership of all clinician-facing onboarding collateral, including comprehensive guides, instructional videos, frequently asked questions (FAQs), and our knowledge base. Ensuring this content remains accurate, up-to-date with product releases, and reflective of evolving clinical workflows is essential for sustained user success.
  • • Operational excellence is non-negotiable. You will manage the scheduling and delivery infrastructure for onboarding sessions, such as Zoom Events, with an unwavering commitment to flawless execution. Minimizing any operational disruptions will ensure a smooth and professional experience for every clinician.
  • • To further enhance efficiency and user experience, you will be challenged to introduce at least one new automation, innovative tool, or significant efficiency improvement every six months. This proactive approach will help scale our onboarding efforts and reduce manual burdens on both the education team and our clinicians.
  • • Beyond standard onboarding, you will contribute to broader customer success initiatives. This includes supporting at least two enterprise workflow coaching or expansion projects each quarter, developing customized onboarding plans, and contributing to scalable clinician success strategies that align with our partners' strategic goals.
  • • Maintaining meticulous documentation of onboarding plans, process improvements, and key outcomes is crucial. This will enable us to build a repeatable and scalable framework for clinician success as Ambience continues its rapid growth trajectory.
  • • You will operate at the intersection of clinical empathy and operational rigor, ensuring that while we build scalable systems, we never lose sight of the individual clinician's journey and their need for personalized support.
  • • This role demands a proactive, self-starter mentality, comfortable navigating a fast-paced startup environment where processes are continuously being refined. Your contributions will directly shape the future of our clinician education function and play a pivotal role in Ambience's overall success.
  • • By ensuring clinicians are well-equipped and confident users of Ambience, you will directly contribute to restoring humanity to healthcare, allowing providers to focus more on patient care and less on administrative tasks, thereby enhancing both clinician well-being and health system performance.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 3–5 years of experience in onboarding, training, customer success, or clinician education, preferably within healthcare, healthcare SaaS, or health tech.
  • • Demonstrated track record of successfully supporting clinicians or other technical end-users through product adoption, with measurable outcomes in satisfaction and activation.
  • • Exceptional facilitation skills for both group and individual onboarding sessions, with the ability to adapt communication styles to diverse audiences and skill levels.
  • • Proven ability to translate complex technical workflows into clear, simple, and actionable guidance.
  • • Strong organizational and operational skills, with the capacity to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously without compromising attention to detail.
  • • Proactive approach to process improvement, with a history of identifying inefficiencies, proposing solutions, and driving implementation.
  • • Comfort and enthusiasm for experimenting with new tools and approaches to enhance scalability and effectiveness.
  • • Ability to thrive in a cross-functional environment and build strong collaborative relationships with Customer Success, Implementation, and clinical teams.
  • • High level of collaboration, low ego, and a genuine motivation driven by the success of clinicians and supporting teams.
  • • Adaptability and resilience to operate effectively in a fast-moving, high-growth startup environment where processes are evolving.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your dependents.
  • • 401(k) with a company match of up to 3% of base salary.
  • • Remote-friendly culture with full equipment provisioning.
  • • Flexible time off with no annual cap, company-wide holidays, and an annual holiday shutdown from December 24–January 1.
  • • Parental leave to support your family needs.
  • • Annual company-wide off-sites, team off-sites, and regular team lunches and all-hands gatherings (with travel, lodging, and meals covered).
  • • Generous equity grants, allowing you to share in the company's impact and growth.
