📋 Description

• As a Cloud Data Engineer Lead at Mutt Data SRL, you will be at the forefront of innovation, driving the development and deployment of our cutting-edge data products and machine learning systems. • A core responsibility will be the design, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of sophisticated machine learning models. These models are the engine behind our product, enabling clients to make smarter, more efficient decisions regarding their marketing expenditures. You will ensure these systems are not only accurate but also scalable, reliable, and seamlessly integrated into our product offerings.

• Working with business stakeholders will be a key aspect of your role. • This role requires a deep understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, ETL/ELT processes, and real-time data streaming technologies.
• You will be involved in defining data governance policies and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Proactively identify opportunities for automation and optimization within our data pipelines and ML workflows.
• Contribute to the overall technical strategy and roadmap for data and ML at Mutt Data SRL.
• Champion data quality and integrity throughout the entire data lifecycle.
• Collaborate with software engineers to integrate ML models into production applications.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production data pipelines and ML systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Design and implement robust data security measures.
• Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in cloud computing, big data, and artificial intelligence.
• Drive continuous improvement in our data engineering and ML practices.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in designing, building, and deploying scalable cloud-based data pipelines and ML systems.
• Strong proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure) and its data/ML services.
• Expertise in programming languages commonly used in data engineering and ML, such as Python, SQL, and potentially Scala or Java.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop ecosystem) and data streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis).
• Familiarity with MLOps principles and tools for model deployment, monitoring, and management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
