📋 Description

  • As a Cloud Desktop Support Technician at Atmosera, you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional IT support within a dynamic, cloud-centric environment. This role is pivotal to our Azure Managed Services division, where you will leverage your expertise to ensure the seamless operation and stability of our clients' hybrid cloud infrastructures. You will act as a primary technical point of contact, addressing and resolving a wide array of client-reported issues with a focus on the Microsoft 365 and Azure ecosystems.
  • Your responsibilities will encompass a blend of traditional desktop support methodologies and modern cloud administration practices. This dual focus is essential for effectively managing and troubleshooting the complex IT landscapes our clients operate within. You will be instrumental in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring end-user productivity and satisfaction.
  • A significant part of your role will involve engaging directly with clients, understanding their technical challenges, and providing clear, concise, and timely solutions. This customer-facing aspect requires excellent communication skills, patience, and the ability to translate technical jargon into understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders.
  • You will be responsible for managing and maintaining end-user devices, including laptops and desktops, ensuring they are configured, updated, and secured according to company and client standards. This includes the deployment of new hardware and software, as well as the troubleshooting of performance issues and compatibility problems.
  • A key component of this position is your involvement with cloud services, specifically Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365. You will assist in the administration and troubleshooting of cloud-based applications, user accounts, and services, ensuring optimal performance and availability. This may include tasks related to user provisioning, access management, and basic configuration of Azure services relevant to end-user computing.
  • You will collaborate closely with other IT professionals within Atmosera, including system administrators, network engineers, and cloud specialists, to escalate and resolve more complex issues. This teamwork is crucial for maintaining a high level of service and for continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
  • Proactive monitoring of client environments will be part of your duties, identifying potential issues before they impact end-users. This includes responding to alerts, analyzing logs, and implementing preventative measures to enhance system reliability.
  • You will contribute to the development and maintenance of IT support documentation, including knowledge base articles, troubleshooting guides, and standard operating procedures. This ensures consistency in support delivery and facilitates faster resolution of common issues.
  • Staying current with the latest advancements in Microsoft technologies, particularly Azure and Microsoft 365, is essential. You will be encouraged to pursue relevant certifications and training to enhance your skills and contribute to Atmosera's expertise.
  • This role offers a unique opportunity to grow your career in cloud technologies, moving beyond traditional desktop support into a more integrated, cloud-focused IT support role. You will gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge cloud solutions and contribute directly to the success of a leading Microsoft Partner.
  • Your ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently in a remote setting, and maintain a high level of professionalism will be key to your success. You will be a trusted advisor to our clients, helping them navigate the complexities of modern IT environments and maximize their investment in cloud technologies.
  • The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of operating systems (Windows 10/11), common business applications, and basic networking concepts. Familiarity with remote management tools and ticketing systems is also expected, ensuring efficient tracking and resolution of support requests.
  • You will play a vital role in ensuring client satisfaction by providing prompt, effective, and courteous technical support, thereby reinforcing Atmosera's reputation for excellence in managed IT services.

🎯 Requirements

  • Proven experience in IT support, desktop administration, or systems administration, with a strong understanding of troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 services (e.g., Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams) and basic administration tasks.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, including understanding of core services and how they relate to end-user computing and hybrid environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical users.
  • Proficiency in remote support tools and ticketing systems.

🏖️ Benefits

  • Opportunity to work remotely within the LATAM region.
  • Professional development and training opportunities, including support for Microsoft certifications.
  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Exposure to cutting-edge cloud technologies and a leading Microsoft Partner environment.
  • Career advancement opportunities within a growing managed services division.
