  • • As a Data Scientist within Jellyfish’s Cloud and Martech practice, you will be instrumental in designing and delivering cutting-edge measurement, modeling, and predictive analytics solutions. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing client performance and informing critical strategic decision-making processes across a global digital marketing agency.
  • • You will collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams, including Cloud Engineers, Analysts, and Martech specialists, to transform vast and complex datasets into clear, actionable insights. This collaborative approach ensures the seamless integration of analytical solutions into client ecosystems and drives impactful business outcomes.
  • • A core aspect of your role will involve building scalable analytical frameworks and applying modern data science techniques to address real-world marketing and customer experience challenges. This requires a blend of statistical problem-solving, collaborative project work, and the ability to develop analytical products that demonstrably influence media efficiency and overall business results.
  • • Your primary responsibilities will include analyzing large, complex datasets to identify emerging trends, diagnose performance issues, and formulate practical, data-driven recommendations. This analytical rigor is key to uncovering opportunities for optimization and growth for our clients.
  • • You will apply and articulate the results of sophisticated data science methodologies. This includes, but is not limited to, Geo-based experiments, Media Mix Models (MMM), Causal Impact Studies, and Incrementality testing. Expertise in these areas is crucial for providing clients with a comprehensive understanding of their marketing effectiveness.
  • • A significant part of your role will involve integrating and analyzing marketing data from a diverse range of sources. This includes platforms like Google Ads, Google Marketing Platform, and CRM systems, enabling you to derive holistic and actionable insights that drive strategic adjustments.
  • • You will be responsible for translating complex model outputs into clear, compelling narratives. This will be achieved through the effective use of visualizations, interactive dashboards, and well-structured reports, ensuring that insights are accessible and understandable to stakeholders with varying levels of technical expertise.
  • • The role demands the design, development, and deployment of predictive and causal models. These models will be specifically aimed at boosting media performance, enhancing customer experiences, and optimizing revenue outcomes, directly impacting client success and Jellyfish's reputation for innovation.
  • • You will lead the creation and implementation of machine learning models tailored for specific marketing objectives. This includes improving campaign effectiveness, refining audience segmentation strategies, and maximizing marketing Return on Investment (ROI).
  • • A key responsibility is partnering with internal teams and external platforms to advance our capabilities in critical areas such as incrementality testing, media modeling, and privacy-safe measurement techniques. This forward-thinking approach ensures Jellyfish remains at the forefront of marketing science.
  • • You will actively research and experiment with emerging technologies and methodologies. This continuous exploration is vital for advancing the firm's marketing science capabilities and staying ahead of industry trends.
  • • Implementing robust cloud-based data architectures is essential for ensuring the efficient storage, processing, and querying of large-scale datasets required for advanced analytics.
  • • You will build reproducible analytical workflows, maintain clear process documentation, and create scalable, repeatable frameworks that can be applied across multiple clients and markets, fostering efficiency and consistency.
  • • Championing and enforcing MLOps best practices is a critical requirement, ensuring all machine learning workflows are reliable, reproducible, and scalable, thereby maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our analytical products.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 7+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related quantitative field.
  • • Expertise in Python and proficiency with machine learning frameworks.
  • • Extensive practical experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other cloud provider services, including Vertex AI, BigQuery ML, and AutoML.
  • • Familiarity with marketing science methodologies such as MMM, incrementality testing, attribution models, and causal inference techniques.
  • • Experience utilizing datasets and APIs from major marketing platforms (e.g., Meta, Google Ads, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
  • • Experience with Generative AI (GenAI) and agentic AI development is highly desired.
