- • As a Cloud Engineer at Applied Information Sciences, Inc., you will support the unique needs of clients by engineering and operating Microsoft Purview compliance solutions, with a focus on eDiscovery, data governance, and information protection within Microsoft 365 environments.
- • Day to day, you will design, configure, and administer Microsoft Purview compliance capabilities; implement and support eDiscovery Standard and Premium workflows; manage retention and sensitivity labels; configure Data Loss Prevention policies; assist legal and compliance teams with defensible discovery processes; develop operational documentation; and collaborate across security, identity, and messaging teams to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Security, Computer Science, Legal Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- • 5–8 years of IT, cloud, compliance, or security engineering experience.
- • 3+ years of hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 compliance and Microsoft Purview technologies.
- • Direct experience supporting Microsoft eDiscovery, including legal holds, content searches, case management, and data exports.
- • Strong experience with Microsoft 365 data governance capabilities: retention policies, retention labels, records management, audit, Data Loss Prevention, and sensitivity labeling.
- • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 workloads (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Teams) and experience troubleshooting policy application, search scoping, permissions, and content discovery challenges.
