📋 Description

• As a Cloud Engineer specializing in GCP and Databricks, you will design and implement scalable cloud-native data architectures that drive innovation for global brands, enabling seamless data transformation and analytics at scale.
• Day to day, you will design GCP-native architectures using BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Composer; build and maintain batch and streaming data pipelines following medallion architecture; implement infrastructure as code with Terraform; develop end-to-end Lakehouse solutions on Databricks including Delta Lake and Unity Catalog; write and optimize PySpark and SQL workloads; configure Databricks clusters and job scheduling; advise clients on platform adoption; lead technical workshops; produce client-facing deliverables like architecture diagrams and migration runbooks; present solutions to stakeholders; manage technical dependencies and risks; participate in Agile ceremonies; implement data quality frameworks; support data catalog initiatives; ensure GDPR compliance; contribute to RFP responses; share knowledge internally; and stay current with GCP and Databricks product advancements.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience
• 6+ years of hands-on professional experience in cloud data engineering or GCP platform roles
• Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect certification
• Databricks Certified Associate Developer for Apache Spark or Databricks Certified Data Engineer certification
• Proficiency in PySpark, SQL, Python, Git, Docker, and unit testing practices
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code on GCP
