- • Lead the Cloud Platform team at Havoc AI Inc, a leader in collaborative autonomy for defense and commercial maritime missions, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of the infrastructure that powers engineering teams deploying mission-critical autonomous systems.
- • Drive day-to-day execution by setting priorities, unblocking engineers, providing mentorship through code reviews and design discussions, and aligning platform initiatives with company goals in partnership with leadership.
- • Design, build, and maintain core cloud infrastructure and platform services, including containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes, while ensuring systems are reliable, scalable, and secure through hands-on contributions to architecture and implementation.
- • Improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows, support SRE practices such as monitoring, alerting, and incident response, enhance observability, and reduce operational toil via automation and tooling.
- • Collaborate across engineering teams in autonomy, backend, hardware, and data to support service deployment, build self-service tools, and improve developer productivity through streamlined workflows.
- • Maintain strong security practices, troubleshoot infrastructure and service issues, and ensure resilient operations across deployments and systems.
- • Foster a culture of technical excellence and servant leadership by mentoring engineers, promoting ownership of all tasks, and advancing HavocAI’s mission to prevent conflict and save lives through innovation.
- • Grow into a strategic technical leader who shapes the foundation of HavocAI’s engineering velocity, enabling faster, safer deployment of autonomous systems while developing expertise in cloud-native architectures, platform engineering, and leading high-impact DevOps teams in a mission-driven, fast-paced environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5–8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering
- • Prior experience leading or mentoring engineers (formal or informal)
- • Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure
- • Solid understanding of distributed systems and system reliability
- • Experience operating production systems with monitoring and incident response
- • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
