Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of commercial and market data for GE HealthCare’s Parkinson’s DaTscan product, turning raw numbers into actionable insights that directly influence go-to-market strategy and patient access to this critical neuroimaging agent.
- • Build and maintain automated data pipelines that ingest sales, claims, prescription, and competitive intelligence feeds; ensure data quality through rigorous validation, de-duplication, and normalization routines so every downstream report is trusted by leadership and field teams alike.
- • Design interactive dashboards in Tableau or Power BI that visualize KPIs such as territory-level adoption, referral patterns, reimbursement velocity, and share-of-voice against competitors; refresh these dashboards weekly and present key findings to sales leadership and cross-functional partners.
- • Partner with Product Management to translate data insights into clear, compelling narratives for sales enablement—crafting slide decks, one-pagers, and objection-handling guides that empower 200+ field representatives to articulate DaTscan’s clinical and economic value to neurologists and nuclear-medicine departments.
- • Conduct ad-hoc deep-dive analyses that answer high-impact questions (e.g., “Which hospital systems show the fastest uptake after peer-to-peer education events?” or “How does prior authorization approval time correlate with reorder rates?”) and deliver concise, data-backed recommendations within tight timelines.
- • Support competitive intelligence initiatives by monitoring conference abstracts, FDA filings, and payer policy updates; maintain a living repository of competitor strengths, weaknesses, and messaging so the commercial team can proactively position DaTscan.
- • Collaborate with Medical Affairs to validate real-world evidence studies—cleaning de-identified patient datasets, running statistical tests, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and GE HealthCare data-use policies.
- • Contribute to annual brand-planning sessions by forecasting market potential under various pricing and access scenarios; your scenario models will directly influence budget allocation across marketing, sales, and medical education investments.
- • Participate in agile sprint planning with IT and Commercial Operations to prioritize new data sources and dashboard features; write user stories, test acceptance criteria, and perform UAT to ensure releases meet business needs.
- • Present your work to senior leadership during monthly business reviews; gain visibility and mentorship from Directors and VPs while refining your storytelling and executive presence.
- • Rotate through shadowing opportunities with Field Sales, Market Access, and Customer Success teams to understand the end-to-end customer journey and gather qualitative insights that enrich quantitative findings.
- • Document all processes in Confluence to create a knowledge base that outlives your internship, ensuring continuity for future co-ops and full-time analysts.
- • Champion a culture of data-driven decision-making by hosting “lunch-and-learn” sessions that teach non-technical colleagues how to interpret dashboards and self-serve basic queries.
🎯 Requirements
- • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Data Science, Business, or related field with an anticipated graduation date between December 2025 and June 2026
- • Demonstrated analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, complex formulas) and familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences
- • Genuine interest in molecular imaging, neurology, or Parkinson’s disease; prior coursework, research, or extracurricular exposure is highly valued
- • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future
🏖️ Benefits
- • Direct mentorship from seasoned professionals in molecular imaging and commercial operations, including scheduled 1:1s and career-development workshops
- • Hands-on exposure to a leading neuroimaging product in the Parkinson’s space, contributing to projects that impact patient diagnosis and care pathways
- • Flexible, fully remote work arrangement with core collaboration hours that respect your academic schedule
- • Competitive compensation package commensurate with co-op market rates, plus access to GE HealthCare’s online learning platform and employee resource groups
