  • • As a Collections Specialist at Forward Financing, you will play a critical role in supporting small business owners navigating financial hardship by negotiating sustainable payment plans for revenue-based financing, directly contributing to the company’s mission of unlocking capital for underserved entrepreneurs across America.
  • • You will service a portfolio of SMB customer accounts using multiple contact methods—including phone calls, text messages, and emails—to engage customers, assess their situations, and drive resolution through empathetic, solution-focused communication.
  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include negotiating payment plans that balance customer needs with business objectives, consistently meeting or exceeding monthly recovery targets tied to performance-based incentives, and leveraging legal collections processes professionally to encourage engagement and compliance.
  • • You will maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of account statuses and next steps in Salesforce CRM, ensuring transparency and continuity in customer interactions while supporting audit readiness and team collaboration.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • • 5+ years of professional experience in Customer Service, Sales, or Collections
  • • Ability to listen empathetically, communicate effectively, and recover monthly targets of past due balances while maintaining focus and working independently
