  • • Serve as a Commercial Account Executive responsible for closing enterprise SaaS deals in the procurement technology space, leveraging a mix of BDR-generated leads and self-sourced prospects.
  • • Act as a trusted advisor and product consultant to enterprise clients, demonstrating how Zip’s AI-powered procurement platform delivers measurable ROI and transforms procurement workflows.
  • • Become a certified product expert by mastering the Zip platform’s features, capabilities, and use cases to deliver compelling, customized demos to prospects.
  • • Develop deep expertise in enterprise procurement, finance, IT, and legal pain points to position Zip as the optimal solution for organizations seeking spend efficiency and process automation.
  • • Utilize sales intelligence tools including Salesforce, Zoominfo, LinkedIn SalesNav, and Outreach to prospect, manage complex deal cycles, and accelerate pipeline growth.
  • • Prospect proactively by tapping into personal networks and identifying new opportunities beyond assigned leads, demonstrating a hunter mentality in a high-growth startup environment.
  • • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape and refine Zip’s sales process, contributing best practices as the company scales its go-to-market strategy.
  • • Maintain a disciplined, organized approach to time management and pipeline tracking, ensuring consistent progress through each stage of the sales cycle.
  • • Communicate clearly and persuasively with C-suite, procurement leaders, and finance stakeholders to articulate value, overcome objections, and close deals.
  • • Embrace flexibility and adaptability as part of a fast-moving startup, contributing to team culture and helping build foundational processes during hypergrowth.
  • • Represent Zip at industry events and client meetings, serving as a product evangelist who connects current customer needs with the future roadmap of the platform.
  • • Work in-person at the New York City office three days per week, with remote work permitted on the remaining days.
  • • Take ownership of customer success by ensuring seamless onboarding and long-term satisfaction, aligning with Zip’s mission to increase innovation pace for every business.
  • • Maintain a high standard of professionalism, integrity, and accountability in all client interactions and internal collaborations.
  • • Continuously improve sales techniques through feedback, training, and peer learning, with a focus on efficiency, scalability, and customer-centric outcomes.
  • • Contribute to a culture of openness, underdog mentality, and collective ownership, where every team member is empowered to drive innovation.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 2+ years of closing experience in technology SaaS sales
  • • Self-driven with proven ability to motivate and manage own pipeline without constant oversight
  • • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Technology, or a related field, or experiential equivalent
  • • Experience using Salesforce, Zoominfo, LinkedIn SalesNav, and Outreach
  • • Willingness to work in-person at the New York City office three days per week
  • • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
