  • • Support the commercial expansion of dLocal in China by identifying, engaging, and nurturing high-potential talent for key roles across commercial functions.
  • • Build and maintain a dynamic, scalable talent pipeline aligned with dLocal’s growth objectives in emerging markets, with a focus on China-based candidates.
  • • Partner with regional hiring managers to understand current and future hiring needs, translating business goals into targeted recruitment strategies.
  • • Source passive and active candidates through multiple channels including LinkedIn, job boards, employee referrals, and industry networks.
  • • Conduct initial screening interviews to assess candidate fit for cultural alignment, technical aptitude, and commercial acumen.
  • • Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process for commercial roles, including scheduling interviews, managing candidate communication, and providing feedback.
  • • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure compliance and reporting accuracy.
  • • Collaborate with global HR teams to align China talent strategies with dLocal’s international people practices and employer branding.
  • • Represent dLocal at career fairs, university events, and industry meetups in Shanghai to strengthen the company’s presence as an employer of choice.
  • • Analyze recruitment metrics to identify bottlenecks, improve time-to-hire, and enhance candidate experience in the China market.
  • • Stay informed on local labor market trends, compensation benchmarks, and regulatory changes affecting talent acquisition in China.
  • • Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers by providing market intelligence and recommendations on candidate availability and competitive positioning.
  • • Promote diversity and inclusion in hiring practices by ensuring equitable access to opportunities for all qualified candidates in China.
  • • Support onboarding coordination for new hires in China to ensure a seamless transition into dLocal’s global culture and operations.
  • • Contribute to employer branding initiatives tailored to the Chinese market, including content creation for career pages and social media platforms.
  • • Maintain strong relationships with external recruitment agencies and vendors operating in China to supplement internal sourcing efforts.
  • • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with local labor laws and dLocal’s global policies.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven experience in recruitment or talent acquisition within China, preferably in fintech, payments, or SaaS industries
  • • Fluency in Mandarin and professional working proficiency in English
  • • Strong understanding of local labor regulations and hiring practices in China
  • • Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms
  • • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple hiring pipelines simultaneously
  • • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
