📋 Description

  • • As a Commercial Legal Counsel at Tillo Limited, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the company’s rapid global expansion by managing commercial contracts and providing strategic legal guidance across international markets.
  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include drafting, negotiating, and reviewing a wide range of contracts—such as those with gift card buyers, suppliers, and major global brands—while also developing contracting strategies, maintaining templates, and advising commercial teams in the UK, US, and Australia on legal and business matters.
  • • You’ll join a dynamic, collaborative legal team within a fast-growing fintech scale-up that values innovation, autonomy, and proactive problem-solving, with opportunities to influence legal tech adoption, including AI-driven tools, to streamline processes.
  • • In this role, you’ll deepen your expertise in commercial law, cross-border transactions, and regulatory compliance in fintech, while building strong stakeholder relationships and contributing to Tillo’s mission of simplifying rewards and incentives globally through cutting-edge digital infrastructure.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of four (4) years’ PQE
  • • In-house experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in a start-up or scale-up fintech setting
  • • Strong experience in contract drafting, interpretation, and negotiation, particularly with challenging counterparties
  • • Ability to build relationships and manage key stakeholders across global teams
  • • Pragmatic approach to balancing legal risks with commercial opportunities
  • • Enthusiasm for leveraging technology, including AI, to improve legal processes
