  • • Procore is seeking a dynamic and technically adept Commercial Solutions Engineer to join our growing team, focusing on the strategic mid-size account segment. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a trusted technical subject matter expert and a key advocate throughout the entire acquisition sales cycle. You will collaborate closely with our Account Management team, playing an instrumental part in articulating Procore's comprehensive value proposition and demonstrating how our innovative platform can revolutionize construction project management.
  • • As a Commercial Solutions Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to guide organizations in understanding and adopting best practices for construction project management solutions. You will highlight the numerous benefits and efficiencies that Procore offers, empowering clients to streamline their operations, enhance collaboration, and improve project outcomes. This role operates within a highly collaborative, creative, and driven environment that fosters openness, optimism, and a strong sense of ownership, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement.
  • • The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pre-sales technical support, with proven experience managing the entire sales cycle from initial contact through product demonstration to successful closing. Alternatively, extensive project management experience within the construction industry, including roles such as Director of Information Systems and Technology, IT Solutions Manager, or Sr. Information Security Manager, will be highly valued. This position offers the flexibility of remote work from any North American location, and we are eager to welcome a new team member immediately.
  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass owning the pre-sales technical support for prospects and partners, ensuring a seamless and informative experience from the first interaction to the final close. You will be instrumental in crafting compelling, value-based presentations tailored to address specific customer business challenges and effectively accelerate the adoption of the Procore platform. This involves conducting engaging technical demonstrations and orchestrating multiple technical resources, both internal and external, to deliver exceptional client experiences.
  • • You will work in close partnership with the Sales team, contributing directly to closing new business by adeptly addressing and resolving prospects' technical challenges. A significant aspect of this role involves enabling new Account Executives for success. You will transform them into Procore experts through comprehensive training, ongoing support, and close collaboration, fostering a knowledgeable and effective sales force. This mentorship and enablement function is crucial for scaling our sales operations.
  • • Collaboration is key to success in this role. You will work across various levels of the organization, engaging with fellow team members as well as internal and external stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met efficiently and effectively. Furthermore, you will actively contribute to developing best practices and serve as a vital link between prospects and clients, our Product Managers, and the Marketing team. This cross-functional engagement is essential for driving client success and supporting Procore's evolution as a market leader in construction technology.
  • • You will leverage your strong technical aptitude to become an expert in Procore’s product offerings, business model, services, and emerging technologies within the construction tech landscape. Your ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively with multiple stakeholders on time-sensitive projects will be critical. You will also be responsible for developing and delivering outstanding presentations and communications, both in-person and virtually, utilizing various channels such as direct messages and email to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • • The role demands strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling you to synthesize meaningful insights from ambiguous data and translate them into actionable strategies. You will also demonstrate a proven ability to mentor, coach, and lead team members, while simultaneously functioning as a strong individual contributor. Experience acting as a technology evangelist and a promoter of modernizing the Construction industry is a significant advantage, as is a deep understanding of the construction industry across different verticals, including general contracting, subcontracting, and real estate development.
