- • Develop, edit, and maintain technical, programmatic, and public-facing content for a federal public health client.
- • Translate complex public health, data, and program information into clear, accessible written materials for diverse audiences.
- • Prepare clearance-ready documents including briefings, summaries, web content, fact sheets, and stakeholder-facing materials requiring government review.
- • Support content development for CDC DHP-related communications, including HIV prevention data dissemination and public health program updates.
- • Coordinate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with client requirements across all deliverables.
- • Ensure all web-ready and public-facing materials comply with Section 508 accessibility standards and federal plain language principles.
- • Support communications for system rollouts, program updates, stakeholder engagement initiatives, and data modernization activities.
- • Maintain documentation repositories, content trackers, assignment logs, and web-ready material libraries.
- • Track and coordinate the federal clearance process for materials prior to external release.
- • Support the development of executive-level communications, visuals, reports, and client-ready deliverables.
- • Interpret client needs and translate them into tangible, high-quality written products under tight deadlines.
- • Deliver consistent, high-quality client service in a fast-paced, deadline-driven federal environment.
- • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, colleagues, and multidisciplinary teams.
- • Utilize Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint or similar collaboration tools to manage content and workflow.
- • Ensure all content is accessible, accurate, and compliant with federal communication standards and guidelines.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree
- • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in communications, technical writing, public health content development, stakeholder communications, or a related field
- • Experience developing written materials for technical, programmatic, or public health audiences
- • Strong writing, editing, content management, and quality review skills
- • Ability to synthesize complex information into concise, audience-appropriate products
- • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint or similar collaboration tools
