- • The Communications, Engagement & Stakeholder Lead role at Capita plc is a fixed-term, home-based position supporting the Public Sector Pensions contracts, with an initial focus on the Civil Service Pensions Scheme (CSPS) to ensure clear, timely, and seamless communications to stakeholders and colleagues.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include acting as a bridge between business, operational teams, and media/public affairs colleagues by coordinating fact-finding, shaping messages, and enabling swift, accurate responses to media queries and external enquiries; internally, packaging information from management and operational leads to drive consistent internal communications cascades, including to frontline colleagues, and equipping them with talking points for high-profile member issues.
- • The role sits within Capita’s Pensions Solutions business, supporting Public Sector Pensions contracts, and will expand over time to cover three additional contracts as the CSPS contract stabilises and the communications approach becomes embedded.
- • In this role, the individual will develop strategic communication expertise, gain experience managing reputational risk, lead and develop a team, build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and oversee integrated communication plans that meet contractual obligations while contributing to corporate and divisional priorities.
