- • As Compensation Manager at Clay Labs Inc., you will own and evolve the company's compensation function to support rapid growth and attract top talent in a competitive market.
- • Day to day, you will design and run compensation cycles, build salary structures and equity programs, partner with Finance and Revenue Operations on variable pay administration, and create clear guidance for managers and employees on pay decisions.
- • Clay Labs is a fast-growing AI-powered growth platform serving thousands of customers including Anthropic, Notion, Google, and Ramp, with a unique culture that values creativity, experimentation, and employee well-being through access to coaches and unconventional operating principles.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in strategic compensation design, gain experience building systems from scratch in a scaling tech environment, and develop influence across People, Finance, and GTM leaders while shaping how a high-growth company pays its people fairly and effectively.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years in compensation with significant hands-on program design experience, ideally including time at a scaling company
- • Deep technical foundations across base pay, variable pay, and equity, with understanding of program mechanics beyond administration
- • Experience working with variable compensation programs, including sales and GTM incentive plans
- • Experience building or substantially rebuilding compensation structures, leveling frameworks, and review processes from scratch
- • Fluency with equity compensation
- • Experience with multi-country compensation, including the UK and Europe, is a plus
