- • Support the APAC compliance function by contributing to talent-related regulatory and operational compliance initiatives across emerging markets.
- • Collaborate with regional HR and legal teams to ensure talent acquisition, onboarding, and employment practices align with local labor laws and dLocal’s global compliance standards.
- • Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation for employee records, contracts, and compliance audits within the APAC region.
- • Participate in the review and implementation of compliance policies related to hiring, compensation, benefits, and termination procedures in Indonesia and other APAC markets.
- • Monitor changes in local employment regulations and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders to ensure proactive compliance.
- • Support internal investigations or audits related to HR practices by gathering and organizing data, coordinating with internal teams, and preparing compliance reports.
- • Work closely with the global compliance team to standardize processes across APAC while adapting to country-specific legal requirements.
- • Contribute to the development of training materials and resources to educate regional teams on compliance obligations related to talent management.
- • Identify potential compliance risks in talent operations and recommend mitigation strategies to senior compliance and HR leadership.
- • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive employee and operational data in accordance with data protection regulations.
- • Engage with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies as needed to clarify compliance obligations in APAC jurisdictions.
- • Assist in the preparation of metrics and dashboards to track compliance performance across talent functions in the region.
- • Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving the efficiency and legality of HR processes in high-growth APAC markets.
- • Represent the compliance function in HR meetings and initiatives to ensure talent-related activities remain legally sound and ethically aligned.
- • Adapt to evolving business needs in emerging markets by quickly learning and applying new regulatory frameworks affecting employment practices.
- • Maintain a strong understanding of dLocal’s business model as a payments processor and merchant of record, ensuring HR compliance aligns with financial and operational risk profiles.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience in HR compliance, labor law, or talent operations within APAC markets
- • Strong understanding of Indonesian employment regulations and familiarity with other APAC jurisdictions
- • Ability to interpret and apply complex legal and regulatory requirements to HR processes
- • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills for managing compliance documentation
